Bellala will commence work on a Green Building Fund project during November 2010.
The project will include upgrading mechanical plant by installing new high efficiency chillers, gas boilers and variable speed drive motors. New energy efficient lighting will be installed in common areas and a recommission of the air conditioning system will be undertaken.
The total project cost is $1,300,000.00 with a Commonwealth Government contribution of $550,000.00 and further enhances Bellala’s commitment to the environment and a sustainable future.
Works will be completed by February 2011.
188 Security has taken over the management of building security services at 188 Collins Street.
Stuart McDonald and his team at 188 Security will provide comprehensive onsite guard services 24 hours per day 7 days per week, including full site patrols, monitoring CCTV cameras and managing contractor check in.
All security officers are fully trained in fire and emergency systems management and hold current first aid qualifications.

Well, we think a good name is everything, which is why we’re keeping ours!
After 10 years we decided it was time for a makeover! We’ve got new stationery, a new website, and even a new corporate name. but it’s still the same team working under the new logo, and we’re still “Bellala”!
Our new formal name is Balsa Rejus Pty Ltd as trustee for the Balsa Rejus Property Trust; a corporate restructure saw Balsa Rejus Pty Ltd replace Bellala Pty Ltd as the trustee of the Trust, but because you’ve come to know us by our nickname, “Bellala”, we decided to keep using it!
