TJS Fire & Safety

Bellala engages TJS Fire & Safety to provide three stages of training to fire wardens at 188 Collins Street each year.

This training is designed to provide the emergency control organisation (ECO) with the skills to deliver an appropriate response to an emergency situation prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

Evacuation exercises are conducted to test the procedures and training.

Phase One – Training
– ECO and emergency response guidelines
– Understanding fire and smoke behaviour
– Use of portable fire fighting equipment
– Specific chief and deputy chief warden training detailing the responsibilities over and above those of wardens.

Phase Two – Evacuation Exercise
– Evacuation briefing outlining the evacuation scenario prior to the commencement of the exercise
– Oversee the evacuation exercise
– Evacuation de-briefing
– Evacuation report to the property manager
– Update warden register

Phase Three – Training
– ECO and emergency response guidelines
– Understanding human behaviour in emergencies
– Bomb and chemical threat procedures
– Update Warden Register
